How to Worship Online

It doesn’t matter how you come to worship God – what matters is that you do. At The Good Shepherd we’re creating multiple ways that you can join us at worship no matter when or where you happen to be. And the best part is that if you can dial a telephone, you have all the skills you need.

Sunday Morning Online

Our 10:30 worship service is offered live online every Sunday morning. You can listen on your telephone, or view the service on Zoom or YouTube.

How to join us by phone

You can dial in and listen to our worship live from any telephone.

  • Dial 1-929-436-2866 (long distance rates may apply)
  • When asked, use the buttons on your phone to enter our Meeting ID. It is 266 831 067. Push the # key to continue.
  • If you’re viewing this page on your phone, just click here to dial in – it’ll enter the Meeting ID for you!

Once you’ve completed these steps, you’ll be placed in our waiting room. This is for security purposes. One of our worship leaders will admit you to the service as soon as possible.

Hint: Once the service starts at 10:30 we’ll only be able to check the waiting room infrequently, so it helps if you can phone in by around 10:25.

How to join us using Zoom

You may have joined us over the spring and summer for our Virtual Worship and Coffee Hour using Zoom. You can continue to do so just as you always have. You’ll be able to see and hear the worship service in real time, but you’ll need to leave your camera turned off and your mic muted.

How to join us on YouTube

Sunday morning worship will be livestreamed straight to our YouTube channel. You can watch on your phone, tablet, computer or smart TV. It’s like a live TV broadcast from the church! Our livestreams are archived and always available. Be sure to subscribe to our channel and click on the bell icon – you’ll receive an alert every time we go live or post a new video.

We’ll be with you every day throughout the COVID-19 emergency. Join Pastor Bob for a daily time of prayer, scripture and a bit of encouragement. You can watch Daily Prayer on our YouTube channel or listen to the Daily Prayer podcast on your favorite podcasting app.

Support our ongoing ministry

Your offerings are more important than ever. Please continue to support The Good Shepherd, and if you’re able to, consider increasing your support in this time of great social need.

  • You can continue to mail checks to the church as you always have. We are checking our mailbox regularly.
  • If your bank supports it, why not set up an automatic check via bill pay? Just sign into your bank account online and provide the church’s mailing address. Your bank will print and mail a check in the amount and on the schedule you specify. It’s easy and takes all the trouble out of sending your donation.
  • We are also able to take donations online via PayPal! Although we’re glad to offer this option to you, PayPal takes a small portion of every gift we receive. If it’s most convenient to you to make your gift online, perhaps you would consider increasing it a little bit to cover the extra fees PayPal charges us.
