Join us for “God’s Wonder Lab” VBS, July 9-13

VBS will be July 9th- 13th 2023! VBS will start on a Sunday this year! All are welcome to attend church before VBS starts. Then we will have our VBS kick off following church starting at noon till 3 PM. This specific time will only be for Sunday. We then will have VBS Monday through Thursday from 6 to 8 PM.

At God’s Wonder Lab VBS, your children look into the Bible, God’s holy word, and discover that Jesus does the impossible, giving us eternal life with him! Jesus shows that he is god with amazing miracles. And he shows us that he loves us by using his power to do marvelous things on our behalf!

We are so looking forward to seeing you at God’s wonder lab, where Jesus does the impossible!

Fun and faith come together in the annual Easter egg hunt

We had a wonderful time at our church’s annual Easter egg hunt last Sunday. It was a joy to see so many children and families participate in this fun and meaningful event – the Fellowship Hall was packed with over 200 people!

We want to thank everyone who helped make it possible: the volunteers who hid the eggs, the donors who provided the candy and prizes, the team who organized the activities, and of course, the parents and kids who joined us.

The Easter egg hunt is more than just a game. It is a way to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ, who died for our sins and rose again on the third day. The eggs symbolize the new life that we have in him. The candy and prizes remind us of the gifts that he gives us. The activities help us learn more about his love and grace.

We hope that you had a great time at the Easter egg hunt and that you felt the presence of God in your lives. We invite you to join us again for our regular Suday services and other events throughout the year. We are a family of faith that welcomes everyone with open arms. Thank you for being part of our church community. God bless you!

Read the Bible with us in 2023!

We want to give you a Bible! All you need to do is read it with us. Beginning January 1, we invite all members of our congregation to join us in reading the entire Bible in 2023. We’re using the Daily Reader’s Bible, a unique arrangement of the easy-to-read New Living Translation. Each day’s reading includes three passages—a selection from the stories of the Bible; another from the teachings of the Bible, including the prophetic books of the Old Testament and the letters of the New Testament; and a third from the wisdom of the Bible. The entire text of the Bible is uniquely arranged for daily reading that can be completed in about 15 minutes per day. You can also follow the reading plan with a convenient app on your phone or tablet – or even listen to the audio version of the daily readings. We’ll be forming weekly discussion groups to share our questions, ideas and discoveries. Claim your Bible today!

Our 2022 Vacation Bible School, Rainforest Explorers, begins today and continues every Thursday night through August 11. You can take the songs of the Rainforest home with you and come ready to sing each week.

It’s time to register for our Confirmation ministry

Rally Day this Sunday, 9/12

We are hosting a special event this coming Sunday, September 12th, immediately following the worship service. Rally Day has traditionally been our chance to come together as a congregation to welcome in the fall and to be the official kickoff of our Sunday School Program. 

Please join us following the 10:30 worship service for food, fun and fellowship! There will also be games for the kids. The event will be held outdoors, weather permitting. If the weather does not cooperate, the Rally Day celebration will be moved to Sunday, October 3rd.

Hop, Skip or Jump your way to VBS!

We had a great time last week at Hop, Skip and Jump VBS! We’ll gather each Wednesday until August 11 – there’s still so much more to experience!

Please remember our VBS leaders and volunteers as well as all of the children and their families in your prayers the next three weeks. And why not stop by the church Wednesday evenings between 6:00 and 8:00 and see how much fun it can be to learn about Jesus in our beautiful yard? Registration is open, in case there are young people in your life who’d like to attend – 100% free of charge.
